Who We Are

Counseling and therapy work best when your therapist is a good fit for you. Get to know us – our backgrounds, specialties, and approach to therapy.

Susan Weinstein, MA, LCSW

For more than 20 years, Sue has been working closely with individuals, families and children, not only in the U.S. but all over the world. Her focus is on helping teens, young adults, and other adults (including parents) to move from distress and trauma to healthy functioning. Sue has been in private practice working with these groups for nearly 10 years. Read more about Susan…

Marta Stamwitz, LCSW

Marta has 20 years of experience working with youth and adults in a range of settings, including private therapy, community mental health centers and public schools. She has worked with a range of clients from ages 3 to 100, but her focus is on helping adults who have experienced trauma, anxiety, depression, and grief and loss (including loss of a pet). She is a trained specialist in EMDR. Read more about Marta…

Kelli Hayes, LCSW

Kelli is a 4th-generation Colorado native who has a great appreciation for the outdoors. Kelli found therapy early on in her own life to be positively life-changing, and later to be truly invaluable in navigating the mental health needs in the lives of her children and family. Kelli’s personal mental health experience, coupled with her nearly 20-year background in community-focused nonprofit management serving ethnically diverse people abroad and in the Denver area, became the impetus for her career transition into social work. Kelli states her richest learning experiences have been received from all ages and very different stations in life. Read more about Kelli…

Zuco

Zuco (ZU-cho) is currently in training for animal assisted therapy (AAT) but is not yet an “official” therapy dog. He is hypoallergenic – he does not shed and does not cause symptoms in most allergy sufferers. Zuco’s presence is completely optional and you can let Sue know if you would prefer him not to be in the room. Read more about Zuco…
